Where the Wind Comes From is a road-trip film about two childhood friends bound by something deeper than romance — an unshakable, loyal friendship. Writer-director Amel Guellaty’s debut feature blends reality and imagination, using Alyssa’s fantasies and Mehdi’s art to explore grief, ambition, and the weight of expectation.
